think similar happened with my kona(although I cant absolutely prove it). I was told it was in country with my name on it and would be in dealers early nov, for early dec del. then i was told near time that it was now on a boat headed for uk. eventually got it about a month late.
I think they sold mine retail as they had another coming. i did mention it and got an embarrassed quick change of subject after a little bluster and hidden smile..lol i still got car so wasnt overly bothered.
so no way youll get it early bar canelling the one you have
