Feels like the masses are being taken advantage of again, shoot the prices up before really need to and lower prices slower then they can do. I used to love to just go for a ride, play some great music, see some lovely scenery but it’s got to the stage of just being way too expensive. I’ve always gone for a sporty driving car that adds to the enjoyment but my next car choice will definitely be geared towards economy and comfort. With everything over the last few years and 10 years of poor government rule in the UK it feels like the world is spiraling out of control some days, dampens my mood, gets one down and with getting older there’s not much that picks me up. I’m not too bad, just a bit up and down some days, they say money doesn’t matter but it does help to give us more to do then just surviving sometimes. Hoping with you all that normal times return soon.
As its the weekend and a nice sunny day, we will go for a drive, however, 5 or 6 miles, max into the country side with a flask of coffee, a book and a sandwich or snack. Previously a 50 mile round trip to the nice beaches at Sandbanks would have been the order or the day. As always it´s the ordinary person in the street who is picking up the tab.
