Just be aware the only way to do your short journeys on electric alone is with a plug in hybrid. The Ioniq has to run the engine to continually replenishing the electricity used up by those short journeys. It’s probably best not to think of whether a particular journey would be done on electric power alone, but to accept that the car will do what it needs to do to minimise the use of petrol.
