I think the 3 month rule should be relaxed for at least a year and should have been introduced the beginning of last year but now I fear it’s too late?
The reason why I say its too late is because what Wigwam mentioned, the price of cars.
VW have already announced months ago that there dropping their price guarantee from June or July if I remember rightly. What that means is as a private buyer you go and order a new car today and by the time its delivered the price of the car has increased £2,000 VW will not bare that cost so customer pays whereas in the past the price you agreed at order point is the price you pay. I suspect this will apply to Motability cars too ordered after Q3 2022. We have to hope other manufacturers don’t follow suit if they haven’t already and also hope it’s only short term.
Martin I sympathise with car boot sizes in relation to scooter sizes and the need for larger cars, it’s a hole I’ve been in for years. ?
