I would say this is rubbish but I can give another way of looking at it. I am the driver for my disabled wife so spend a lot of time parked outside hospital so imagine the cold winter last year I would turn engine on to keep warm then off until too cold then back on etc etc. so last week I had to wait outside hospital in EV now I knew i wasn’t going anywhere else that day except home so could waste range. Arrived at hospital didn’t turn motor off carried on with a/c listening to music turning temp down as required got in back for more legroom and looking at internet. After about 2 hours my wife returned and I think I had lost around 18 miles of range. But how much diesel would I have used for same period.
