We get bi-weekly updates from our saleslady, so far quite impressed with the service and courtesy. We didn’t go to our closest VW dealer (the guy we met there for our ID3 test drive became kinda douchy when we mentioned that it’s gonna be a Mota car – so we took our business elsewhere), already have confirmation for courtesy cars when necessary, on top they’ll mount our dashcam for us (in the Golf, as well as the ID3 i’d assume, the rear hatch trim has to come off if you want to mount a rear camera and hide the wire, has to go through a watertight grommet). They even offered hard wiring, but we stick with the 12V in the boot.

Yeah, having a free charger certainly is a knockout argument, we’re currently quoted £600 through Octopus for a Wallbox Pulsar, or £700 for the Easee One through a local company. Does hurt, admittedly, but what can you do.

We had range anxiety too, but once we grasped the fact that “the long charging time” only applies to a full charge, and not a 100 mile top up if necessary, that became way less of an issue. The AR-HUD in the ID3 is great, only thing that i’d love to see in the GTE too, we had to pay extra for a normal HUD.

Alas, can’t have it all – you didn’t pay for the charger, but we have the more comfy seats. 😛

edit: what colour? And, optional wheels?
