Ive had lots of the Ford escort, type stuff as a lad, then spent 35 yrs only owning 2 Volvo s40’s, newest was a 2005..
However motability scheme option entered our lives and just decided the new xc40 mild hybrid would be for us, however it’s worse on fuel than our old Volvos maintained by myself, even on average of 180,000 miles each..
On the plus side Mrs ajn really enjoys the freedom of driving again, which I enjoy not having too, just wish it wasn’t so fuel thirsty..
