    Hi John. What a shame that you are in this position. I would call Motability and explain. They are very good in situations such as this and I feel sure that they will allow your wife to re-order the higher spec model. I don’t think that you will get them to agree to let you have the higher spec model for the same price (standard spec can and does change on cars) but the dealer may come to some arrangement with you to lower the AP by way of a discount. You can but ask!
