Two more reasons why I can’t wait to return to The Land of my Grand-Mothers – the Red Dragon (we called him Idris) and Welsh cakes.
My mum sometimes made industrial quantities of Welsh cakes for breakfast when I was a child – to be eaten warm with butter. As there were four kids plus dad lined up with plates she couldn’t make them fast enough. 🙂
