12 years ago the council got major funding (EU) to refurbish our model village. Here is a model of our model village. Built in 1905 for the miners of Brodsworth Main colliery. As part of the work everything in the “squares” was dug up and new sewers and drains laid, along with new water mains and supplies to each home.
New roads and much more. We no longer suffer from blocked drains. It has been a good send.
