Tbh I’m still amazed at how I was able to even consider ordering such a car, as my current vehicle is a 7 seat BMW with a hoist and scooter in the back, and 18 months ago I was looking into getting a WAV as my next vehicle.
What changed everything for me was lockdown, my wife started working from home, the last of my children fled the nest.
Meaning we could follow our dream of moving to the seaside thus negating the main reason I carried a fairly large scooter around as we now live at the place we mostly travelled to.
So instead of spending a lot of money on an AP like I usually do, I bought a large off road scooter which I keep in the garage and a mega light folding scooter the size of a carry on suitcase for the car.
Our new bungalow has a roof full of solar panels too which sparked my interest in a EV hopefully I can recoup the costs some of my previous AP’s with fuel savings.
