I haven’t seen it, but having tried out a few ev’s, if you are embarking on an unknown journey and you dont have the range, then a bit of forward planning is needed. As others have said, consulting zapmap or similar becomes second nature, like using a sat nav. I would have gone for the kona, but when it was my time to change, but the ap was too high, and charging was a problem at home, now petrol has gone up considerably, since lockdown ended, it may well have made sense! With the bmw gran coupe, it has a small tank compared to my old X1, so it seems I am filling up every journey! The government gets £28 billion from fuel duty, it needs to replace that somehow. Smart meters must know you are charging a car, so I guess duty will be added that way. My next one will be an EV, current fave is the electric Fiat 500. I am due to change in 24 moths, but will see what happens in the next 6 months with petrol prices, and car availability, and if fuel prices keep rising, consider getting an early termination, to an EV.
