Newsflash from VW Update 19 July: Golf (petrol and diesel models), T-Roc and Tiguan will be removed from the Motability programme for Q3 from close of business on Wednesday 21 July. Any orders have to be completed by the close of day tomorrow (21/7/21) This is down to the Semi Conductor shortage.
Newfie – Whilst this news, now confirmed, has understandably disappointed many, I just wanted to say a big well done and thank you for posting this early warning a few days ahead of it happening. In my view, this is exactly the sort of thread that this forum was designed for. Directly relevant to Motability, info that is not available elsewhere and hugely informative to those who are in the scheme and considering which car to order and when. Hopefully a few people managed to get their orders in before the cars were removed from the scheme.
