I have done this, I ordered the ID.3 at the start of June, I officially can order from the 18th July.
The dealer was more than happy to do so, I payed a small deposit and will go the dealership next week, to complete the new application.
In my case the AP has reduced, so I was fortunate. If it had gone up then I would of obviously payed it within reason!
