Once in a blue moon a very small number of Motability customers are asked for feedback on the scheme. This includes the government sponsored review into the scheme that was published last year. Customers asked for several improvements, including a better choice of larger vehicles. Sadly the feedback never seems to be acted upon. Motability tend to hide behind the statistic that 98% of customers (or whatever the figure is) are very happy with the scheme. The fact that for every eligible customer that joins the scheme two others decide not to never seems to be considered, but that’s the supposed purpose of the current TV ads. They seem to think it’s about lack of awareness rather than the fact that most people use their benefits for other things, including sourcing cars (new or used) privately.
