What a performance! So sorry to hear about all of this. Can’t say I’m surprised as from our experience of 3 different VW dealers they were all very poor. I have a degree of sympathy with the dealer about Ginger Brown. This isn’t a popular colour (I’m being polite) and I can see them being stuck with it, especially with a Storm Grey interior. We have Storm Grey on our Tiguan (and it’s lovely) but it would clash with the Ginger Brown IMHO and I think they would really struggle to shift one in that colour combo.
It will be very difficult to match the Tiguan Elegance for kit. I compared the spec to the Seat and the Tiguan had much better spec, other than leather (which is a glaring omission in the Tiguan IMO). The problem that you will now have is that you will probably be waiting 3 to 6 months for almost any car now, so I would agree that it’s best to hold on to your current car until things settle down.
