Off-topic and into music again. Have mentioned the Guatemalan Gaby Moreno here before. Probably not your cup of Earl Grey but one thing (other than the voice) I love about the recordings is that when she accompanies herself on acoustic guitar, you can actually hear her fingertips skritiching over the strings. (Not sure if that is even a word but you know what I mean.) Many artists edit out the sound but I find it very natural – it’s like being in the same room as the singer/player.
