I feel, that in 2024, 6 years before the sale of ICE cars is banned we shall, indeed, see a much larger selection of electric cars perhaps around 30-40% increasing to perhaps over 50% the following year. In three years I suspect range will no longer be an issue, with 400-500 miles the norm and costs will start to fall with economies of scale. It is likely the AP ceiling will rise too, perhaps to 5k. And of course gradually, manual cars will disappear. I am not so sure about an increase in BHP. As I understand it is now 225hp which is appx 167kw. Much will depend of the offerings. Of course it is vital the rollout of 50kw chargers and above continues but a far more integrated approach is needed with the ability to pay by contactless.
