    I do so hope that the charging rigmarole does get simpler, as Julie says. Having decided that next car will be electric, I do not think I could handle all that press-slide-pull app-stuff at a charge point. If I tried I know the phone (which I don’t have), or the charge screen or the app will glitch or just tell me that it won’t do it. I’m with Wigwam – want to go to charger, plug in car, swipe card.

    Why do digital things have to be so absurdly and needlessly complicated. I try to answer Madam T’s mobile but generally fail because there are so many thing to do, swipe, slide etc. Making a call is impossible, swipe, slide, enter code, press a “go” button and then hope that a keyboard appears, enter number and try to press the correct new “go” button. To answer call why can’t I have just one button? Similarly making a call should be one button and a keypad.
