Thanks @Glos Guy. As I say, I really love the whole experience of my Focus and truly hope it transfers most or all of that to the Kuga. I know you will know this but one thing that I hadn’t realised about the Kuga, is that it is the largest in all exterior dimensions compared to Q3, X1, XC40, Tiguan and Tucson (2020). I know the sloping rear window of the Kuga limits boot space capacity but I still found the fact surprising. I can understand your own frustration and hopefully that elusive deal appears in the near future.
Yes the Kuga is a very good size and hence is still on my short list. For me the Tiguan slightly edges it at present, as it has more kit as standard (such as most of the things that are in the £400 Technology Pack and £1,000 Driver Assistance Pack on the Kuga) and the reviews that I have read score the Tiguan slightly ahead of the Kuga. I am hoping that the 2.0TSi 4WD Tiguan comes on the scheme when launched, as the only petrol choice at present is the 1.5 2WD, although I have watched some road tests of the engine and they were very complimentary about it. None the less, I shall be very interested to hear how you find the Kuga when you get it as my mind is far from made up.
