@wmcforum very difficult for motability to “guess” which way the market will fall, at least in the short to medium term. PHEV are no more than a bridge in the inevitable move to BEVs, so, as infrastructure and range in BEVs improve ICE and PHEVs become less desirable. In the past, three years in the automobile industry brought little change but EV’s, as market disrupters, have changed that. It is not inconseavible that PHEVs bought today could be obsolete, or at least very much less desirable, in three years time.
There is very little motability can do to mitigate their position as you can only buy those cars that are available at any time.
