tharg, unfortunatley no further forward as you say resetting the tyre pressures is the only solution so far.
but as i am not going anywhere its not an issue at the mo i will just press reset before i drive off next time and hopefully that will preempt her.
seriously considering getting an older 2nd hand car in future without all this crap.
