Depends on the car and driver. The worst experience I ever had in the snow was in a rear wheel drive BMW 5 Series Auto, even though it was by far the best car to drive in dry conditions. Our 4WD Auto Tiguan isn’t a patch on the BMW in normal conditions, but I took it out in snow and it was brilliant. It has a ‘snow’ mode and I felt in complete control at all times, even in a car park with thick snow and ice when every other car was all over the place. The only problem I had was on the motorway when the slush blocked the forward view of the camera, which disabled the front collision assist and cruise control!
