It was never my intention to come across as an asshole.
Apologies if I did.
I was simply trying to explain that I have driven all of the afforementioned vehicles and I have found that despites some of Audi’s stand out features and materials used, there is no doubt that they have try to save money by cutting corners with the latest model.
Watch Carwow and you will see what I mean.
I have been driving for over 25 years. I’ve had loads of cars in my time, petrols and diesels etc…
I am now at an age where I want something comfortable, looks good and goes fairly well.
I just feel that the market is currently flooded with bog standard spec/engine cars.
And, when you’re about to pay an AP running into the ££££’s, I would want to make sure that every £ was worth it.
That’s all I was trying to say, but I realise that opening my big mouth and letting my belly rumble has made me look and sound like a right idiot.
The A3 is a lovely car. Just make sure you have test driven it extensively to ensure you know what you’ll be expecting to have for the next 3+ years.
PS….regarding the increase in power etc…I would not mess with a Motability car’s engine for any power increase.
Motabilit won’t allow it, and neither will RSA.
