I don’t know about other cars but our BMW has telemetry going back to BMW via the same built in cellphone link that provides traffic information to the satnav. So the positional data for road pricing is probably already there.
Any interference with the software would be easy to detect.
Low tech solution – cover the arrival with tinfoil. Slightly higher tech, disconnect the aerial.
