    The biggest problem is it will effect those who have the least income and drive to work and are car dependant, but as always the few and those setting the rules for the masses can afford to do whatever they please.

    There is tax on fuel and the more you drive the more you pay, but over time that will drop. The issue with this is who is most likely not to be able to afford to buy a new clean car, when and if this rollsout. inequalities will grow even further than now. It was a labour mp that said we in the west need to comedown to the level of the third world not them come up to our level..

    Many will have to pay more than now and then they will be able to afford less as they paying more.. This is where they want us in catch 22, If we the people not priced off the road altogether, but i feel more will happen like people working from home and kids learning at home, using tech. so there is no need for anyone to travel using a car anymore.. Then everthing you need within 15mins walk or bike ride is being piloted across the world as well, as everything will be delivered by drones and operated by ai.. and we need to all upskill for the 4th industrial revolution.
