Just to bring this thread up to date. Went ahead with the Focus despite my reservations on another thread and have to say I am absolutely delighted I did. I ended up choosing Chrome Blue as opposed to Desert Island Blue from their stock cars. Picked it up last Friday.
What a joy to sniff that new car smell again.
