Used to be a big Ford fan. Simple, reliable designs. Had any number of Escorts, Cortinas, Granadas. Started to lose enthusiasm with a 1.6L Escort front-drive with a 0-60 of 14secs. Then first Motability car was a Sierra diesel which was dull, boring and underpowered. Handled like a brick. Thus the move to VAG products and now MINI. Shame, would have liked a Fiesta ST but it is censored.
F150 is US top seller? Absurd! It as big as a bus and can be had with dinosaur of a V8 delivering 400+bhp. If it was the top seller in my village, the narrow lanes would be all blocked up, but sounding great!
