£3k plus for a Vauxhall for an Astra is just bonkers as is £2k for a Honda Civic These cars used to be in the low hundreds it’s not as if they are large or particularly desirable cars.
At the moment at least there are no stand out bargains to be had. All you can do is wait till next quarter and keep everything crossed.
