That may well be true Phil, but the new screens in the Golf are dangerous and are getting slated in the media & the motoring Press. VW obviously haven’t learnt anything from similar mistakes Honda made not long ago with the Civic. How hard can it be to put a couple of small dials/knobs below a screen for the A/C for example instead of having to take your eyes off the road for seconds at a time? If the likes of VW are going to include such tech – then the EU should insist that they include voice control as standard – instead of it being an option that’s several hundred quid – if not more.
