You better hope it’s not too early for EVs for the disabled. The most vulnerable are bearing the brunt of illnesses caused by the pollution in the atmosphere. A recent German study estimates that 8.8 million deaths a year are caused through pollutants in the air we breathe.
Add in illness and death caused by climate change and the case for EVs looks even more compelling. Theres no bigger petrolhead than me. I’ve always loved ICE cars but I work for the NHS and over the years have seen more and more peoples health affected by pollution and climate change.
It’s a no brainer. We all need to put the Environment before electric seats or leather upholstery even if that means compromising.
