I did 513 miles yesterday in my 30kWh Leaf… Glasgow, Inverness, Ullapool, Gairloch, Inverness & Glasgow…. so why is a 300 mile range so important ?‍♂️

I can present the heating to come on if I know when I’m leaving or I can use the app if times change, this includes the heated seats and steering wheel. No more disabled person having to clean windscreens or blow into my fingers waiting on the diesel to warm up.

People are quite happy to drive to a petrol station but immediately discount an EV cause they can’t charge at home.

The network of plugs and chargers and the relatively poor infrastructure isn’t great but cars were on the road for about 20 years before petrol stations came along, didn’t they have to buy fuel from the post office or chemist?

Why do EV’s need to be “affordable for the masses” it cost us the exact same money per month to lease a BEV or a diesel, and would cost us less to run a BEV. Our used cars are going to allow someone to get an EV in 3 years time instead of a diesel.

If anybody has kids & grandkids and they aren’t doing every little thing they can to stop using fossil fuel then shame on you cause it’s those kids and their kids who will suffer and look back at what a bunch of p£!6&5 you were ?‍♂️ (too harsh? ?‍♂️?)
