    Hi Ashley. For me, as with many others here, Motability is the way to go. It is completely all-inclusive; insurance, tax, tyres etc. Even get a replacement car if yours breaks down or gets hit in accident. Biggest appeal is that I do not have to phone/email countless box-tickers from insurance companies, tax authorities, tyre firms etc etc. all of whom will be trying to con me one way or another.

    Another issue is age… try getting a private lease if you are aged over 70. Most lease firms will not do it. Those that do seem to offer it want to know vast amounts of personal info/data about you. Even if you are willing to let them have everything from your shoe-size to your number of accidents since the beginning of time, there’s no guarantee they let you lease.
