Quite frankly, I’m of the ‘Equal but different’ Party. We each have strengths and weaknesses – the key is to really listen to each other, stop belittling the other side as a matter of principle, and be willing to accept and adopt the best parts from each side.
The happiest marriages are the ones where there is plenty of ‘Give’ and ‘Take’ on both sides, but ‘Rights’ come with ‘Responsibilities’.
We don’t want Trump, but we don’t really want another Thatcher, either.
