It has happened to me twice. The first time I was given my award back after MR but still too late to keep my car. There weretwere a few things that stood out that DWP couldn’t miss. The doctor (it was a real doctor) said I was left handed, I shook hands with my left hand since my right arm was in a sling. He declared that I could “sit, stand and climb on the sofa” something that made no sense, finally he could tell I was able to walk a great distance as he could see the callouses on my feet by the way my socks looked on my feet. When I got the MR report it had his name and practice number, I reported him to the GMC, he was not struck off but received a severe reprimand.
It’s heartbreaking when you lose your transport but fight them, go to appeal and rub their noses in it. It will take time but I know you’ll get there.
