For a used car it’d be impossible for motability to give an AP so that’s a no go.
VAT on a used car is on the dealers margins…. so if he gives £10,000 for a car as a trade in then sells it for £12,000 then the VAT is on the £2,000 profit, not the whole £12,000 selling price.
