I’m with you Chris regarding not liking being taken for a ride. It’s truly a British ‘thing’ that on the whole most are too afraid/embarrassed/other reason, to complain, be it products or services.
Fuel can vary by over 20p per litre in my area. That’s over £10 extra per fill-up. In fact the cost of diesel at my local is still £1.27 (as of Thursday)
However, the whole discussion of fuel cost is pretty irrelevant for most at the moment. When things begin to turn back to whatever will become normality and we can drive, you can guarantee that the fuel cost will be back as high as ever.
The one good thing about the lower cost at the moment is that at least the key workers are getting some respite on their fuel bill.
