Just came back from my weekly shop, checked diesel price on petrolprices.com before leaving home and ASDA won my business this week with diesel at £120.7 a ltr.
Only filled up just over a week ago so could only get a third of a tank in the car but I’m not looking gift horses in the mouth and as I’m away for a few days week after next thought I’d top-up and will do again next week if the price holds.
I’ve got Morrisons 300 Mtrs down the road, Sainsbury’s 2 miles, Tesco 2.5 miles and Asda at 1.5 miles and of late Asda have always been the leader at the pump with Morrisons always being the dearest of the cheaper stations.
If there all the same price Sainsbury win because I get Nectar points though Morrisons do loyalty card on fuel but it seem or feels you have to spend a thousand to get a fiver.?
