Im surprised at that Moreton5. VW quote 48mpg combined for the 150bhp. What are you getting in yours?
My BMW x1 18d is returning just under 48mpg over the last 500 miles at 27mph average speed. I zero’d it a while back and it was on 47mpg/2,500 miles. I’m really happy with this. Door to door, on a 120 mile round trip to hospital and on ‘A’ roads, I can get 66mpg!
MPG is a biggy for me. I even calculated a three year difference of the higher AP cost/mpg of petrol models vs lower AP/mpg of some diesels. ?
