You are also right about the Ateca. I had narrowed it down to 1.5LT Petrol Excellence Lux Automatic but when I visited the Seat showroom I was shocked at the quality of the seats. The rear seat was hard as nails and I found the driver’s sport seat really difficult to get into with its hard bolsters on the side of the seat. It would have been perfect otherwise, good deposit price and all the kit with a heated screen as well (boo hoo VW for not making this an option)!! And another gripe for the Ateca, no flat loading bay and no option for it either…!
No, it’s not a patch on the Tiguan at all…nuf said lol
