That really looks like KIA have either mistyped the 16a figure or have changed 32 to 16. The charging times drop significantly and very much in line with what would be expected off a 32a charger. I’d also argue that there’s no way the charge times drop by that much off a 60% increase in current.
If you look at the charge times for any other BEV, regardless of what those times are they decrease in proportion to the increase in power, it’s simple physics. If you fill a bath with a single tap it takes 4 times as long as with 4 taps, electricity works in very much the same way. If anyone were to lodge a legal claim, that is an easy argument to make and blows whatever nonsense that brochures states out of the water.
