Its so tricky to advise especially for a young person who understandably wants a reasonably cool car. But I can only agree with the guidance to get a car which matches your needs rather than wants. Also you will of course end up with a black box once you get your next Motability car (Drive Smart). Lastly definitely do not bother/worry about paint protection unless its offered for free
