I have replied to them calling out that my contract was with them and not their contractors and asked how they plan to compensate me financially as now I understand where from the spike in nuisance calls comes from.

I guess they will ignore or reply some nonsense.

Yeah never thought about the fact that it was a third party. Mind probably buried in the T&C’s that they will/can do it.

The funniest call was this morning. I don’t answer numbers I don’t recognise unless I’m expecting a call. So a voice message was left in what sounded like am Asian Chinese accent with the worst broken English I’ve heard telling me I need to do x y z as my insurance with my GP had run out.

Register with the Telephone Preference Service (TPS). It won’t fully block,  but will significantly reduce this nonsense.

I had the email from Renault today telling me

The email looks genuine, but
