I could be absolutely wrong, but I think collection service is a must on Motability or they pay for the taxi?
I had my VW for four years and they would come and collect from home. Same goes with my current Skoda, despite all the issues I have with the car.
With Mazda it was different- the closest garage was 15 miles away, on my way to work and Motability covered the taxi costs- Mazda was faulty from day 1 and didn’t last for long.
