Hi, can anyone answer this question, I am about to order the Skoda Enyaq Sportline Plus but with the addition of the advance package would i have to pay a deposit because i’m adding the advance package ??

That really depends on the dealership.  Some are happy just to add it to the AP to pay when it’s ready, others want optional extras paid in full in advance.  The only really accurate answer is to have the conversation with your dealer and see what they say.  I’d frame it around making sure you’re properly prepared to put the order in, that may make it an easier conversation.

It may be worth ringing around a few dealers to see if you can get a discount. There’s a few offers starting to appear on AP’s for the Enyaq. Have a look at @BigDave s thread at the top of the page on Motability deals, page 5 of 7/12/24 there’s a few Enyaq deals.

Hi Jojoe, I have an appointment with the dealer next week who is offering half price on the model i’m ordering. It should be £2499 but is £1249 I live on the south coast and I’m willing to travel the 4hr journey to do the ordering. The dilemma I have is I’m not 100% sure i can have the home charger fitted to my house as I’m a housing association tenant, i have lived in the house for 30 years it has off street parking i always park in the same place but it’s not a drive. So I’m just waiting for acceptance from them but should i have to pay a deposit and then be told i cannot have the home charger i wouldn’t know where i stand with a cancellation ????? sorry it’s a bit drawn out

Reading further down I see that you are living in a HA property that as yet hasnt even granted permission for a charger to be fitted or perhaps not even yet been approached by yourself

On top of that you do not have a dedicated parking space.

These matters can be complex and drawn out at the best of times and I would suggest running these proposals past your HA before you even consider ordering an EV
