I am unsure and I will probably have very similar problems when my EV comes,
However, I have read somewhere that you have to let either Octopus control your charging schedule or the car (in your case Skoda) I think there may be conflict when potentially both are trying to do the same job.
I may be completely off course here. But I have read about this somewhere.
Sure someone will be along soon to give you some more specific information.
I took will be watching eagerly.

You are indeed right sir! Octopus controls the charging not the car 🙂

So, presumably there is a procedure for deactivating the cars charging programme ?

Yes, you don’t set schedule’s from the car and set it so external charging takes control.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
May 9, 2024 at 10:14 pm #277174Thanks for the video instructions as I will be moving to intelligent go once I get my smart meter installed next week after which they said it takes up to 14 days for the data to start sending to octopus every half hour.
I’ve go Ohme survey guy coming next week aswell to do pre-install survey and they said they can arrange actual installation asap after the survey.
Currently, estimated deliver of bZ4x is end of the month so if my smart meter is not fully set up by this time then do I just use the Ohme app to charge the car at the standard rate until the smart meter is fully working and I move to the intelligent go tariff?
Thanks
May 10, 2024 at 10:24 am #277203Hi there,
I know it’s a little off topic, but is it possible to register two cars with Intelligent Octopus Go.
My son has an Audi E-Tron and I have a Skoda Enyaq Coupe on order.
Thanks.
May 10, 2024 at 10:41 am #277206I think you’re making matters harder by setting both charger and car up. As you’ve got an ohme I would skip the Skoda integration altogether and set it all up with just the ohme and see how that goes.
You can only setup one car at a time on IO however if you have a compatible charger we’ll Octopus doesn’t know what car is connected so that’ll solve it

Intelligent Go, as I understand it officially supports charging for one vehicle. If you want to charge two or more cars, you have to manually set the 2nd car to charge manually during off peak hours however don’t quote me on this.

Hmm, if you’re alternating and charging with the same charger I don’t think it makes any difference. The communication is between Octopus and the charger and not with the vehicle (I need to fact check this).
Though mine is linked to my vehicle to charge during off peak hours, it can also charge any EV both off peak and peak hours.
May 11, 2024 at 12:08 pm #277324Thank you to everyone.
I had to cancel my ohme account and re registered.
Then followed the YouTube guide .
All set up now.
Just waiting to see how it charges
Thanks again everyone
