I’m getting near the stage when my next vehicle is due, but I’m a bit confused by the payments due from Motability. I can remember getting part of my GCB up front but I’m not sure what the balance is when I hand the car back. There’s also the £750 New Car payment, is this on top of the GCB too?
I’m not complaining, just a little bit confused. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You should have received £350 of GCB and will get the balance of £250 when car returned and checked. The £750 can either come direct to you or the dealer if you place a new order. Gives a £1000 total towards any AP.

I thought if you were already a customer you got the £750 payment if you ordered before the last day of 2023. And it was only new customers would get the £750 payment if they ordered 1/1/24 onwards. Could be wrong.

Are you getting confused – the GCB is £750 as described above. The New Vehicle payment is also £750. For existing customers this will be paid towards the AP or into a bank account at next change of car.
You were paid £350 have allready been paid £350 of the GCB, leaving £250 left to paid when you hand your existing vehicle back. Add to the the £750 NVP leaves you with £1000 as @bobscot1 said 🙂
I am only talking about the new vehicle payment £750. I thought an existing customer had to order their new car before the end of 2023. And it was only new customers would get the £750 new vehicle payment if they ordered a car before the end of 2024.
