      I’ve just been looking at my contract with Motability fir my next car.

      Interesting line;

      Excess Mileage Payments of 5p per mile in excess of 20,000 miles per year of the Hire Term. If applicable, VAT will be added at the appropriate rate

      Of course, extended lease will be at extra 20k a year,

        I may be wrong, but pretty sure I’ve read on here that they never enforce it.

          I don’t think I have ever seen a lease deal on or off motability where there isn’t a mileage limit with charges for going over.

              That’s impressive! I did used to do proper miles, back in the day, back when I drove an old beater haha.

              If you’re over by a few k then hanging on to your old car for a couple of months will get you another 3k miles allowance ??

                <p style=”text-align: left;”>I’m sure the 5p / miles excess over 20k has been there ever since I joined MB in 2009. My 1st car was over 60k but it was a few months over before I got next car, I worked out pro rata that I was about 700 miles over 20k / year but never heard anything. None of my subsequent cars have exceeded limit.</p>
