The one card thing would certaily be the way to go, rather than having cards galore ontop of your debit and credit cards in your wallet.
Most cars have a cubby hole somewhere you can store these cards if you need them.
To be fair, I have one app with a pre-paid amount and that’s for our local Tesco chargers. Everything else is contactless payments. If I had the need for a RFID card or some form of discount card/subscription card, I’d keep them somewhere safe in the car rather than my wallet.
