Hey all,

Just ordered a BMW 2 Series Gran Coupe, I have an estimated delivery date of 1st November, how accurate is this at the moment considering there are still delays. Anyone ordered with BMW recently and what kind of waiting times are to be expected.

congratulations on your order of the Bmw 2 series Gran coupe.I’ve had mine for almost three years now and it’s been a fantastic car to drive and a great looking car with no major issues.I would order another or extend my current one (misano blue)however I’d prefer a JCW but that was removed from the scheme and went for a Mazda cx5 Homura but early days yet so a provisional order currently.I hope you get your car as per the date quoted and I remember my car took about 4 months ?

Excellent choice, get the rears tinted, oem, or aftermarket. If you can afford it, lumbar adjust for the seats, and a sunroof.  Wish i had ordered those, as nothing else on the scheme for me.  Fab car. What colour did you go for?

Hi, I’ve just enquired about the same car. Had some in stock including white, Misano and the the other blue. Looking at 4 weeks.

I got one in Misano Blue too, I wish I got a stock one as I didn’t really get anything extra on mine!

Its replacing my bmw 2 series coupe so I can wait because I quiet like the car.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>I am not sure, but i read on a bmw forum, they have removed some of the bits and pieces, that were on the original models, the little compartment by the steering wheel has gone, rear footwell lights, and door lights also. Not deal breakers, but for the sake of a few euros, bonkers. I am tempted to get a new one, or just hang on with mine.</p>

hi there, just bear in mind if the vehicle is taken Motability (DL) will not pay out for the post fitted audio, and don’t forget not to cut any holes out of the trim

Hi, I ordered my BMW 2 series gran coupe 218i on 28th July with an estimated delivery of 1st November.

Still hasn’t arrived yet and BMW said they can’t give me a status update and could be waiting till January.

Has anyone else’s bmw been delayed?

The BMW delay seems to be really long, probably because they have a backlog of orders to get through. My renewal date is coming up and I’ve been looking at a 1 series but the wait is putting me off. If you get it in  January, that’ll be a 6 month+ delay which is ridiculous.
